If you find that you are unable to run an Microspot application that you downloaded from the web as an archive, please make sure that you have uncompressed the .zip archive correctly.

If you are using Mac OS X version 10.3.x and above, you should use the systems built-in tools to uncompress the archive. You can do his by doing the following :

High-light the .zip file you have downloaded and do get info.
From the Open with, set the application from the pop-up menu to 'BOMArchiveHelper'
Close the get info dialog and double click on the .zip file to expand it.

If BOMArchiveHelper is not available is the list to open with then choose other... and then navigate your way to :

YourHarddisk:System:Library:CoreServices:BOMArchiveHelper

If you are using Mac OSX 10.2.8 then you need to make sure you are using the latest stuffit expander for that Mac OSX. Click here to download it.

If you are still unable to uncompress the archive, please contact Microspot. (Click here to take you to Microspot Technical support section) so the file can be uploaded as a .sit file.
