MacDraft PE can only open MacDraw II documents.

Documents created in any other Claris application has to re-opened in the application that created them and re-saved as MacDraw II document.

If 'Save as MacDraw II' is not available as an option in the Claris application, you need to make sure that the MacDraw II translator is correctly installed in the Claris Translators folder inside the Claris folder which is in the system folder.

Due to limitations of MacDraft PE, any MacDraw II documents that are larger than the 17"x17" drawing size supported by MacDraft PE, only the top left hand 17"x17" document will be visible. Any MacDraw II documents that contain layers, only the front most layer will be read in.

To read MacDraw II files in their entirety, you need to use MacDraft Professional.
