Hello,
I'm using MacDraft PE v5.6.5.
I often make a duplicate in the Finder (Mac OS X v10.4.11) when creating a new drawing, because I often need to make similar drawings. (I build kitchens, and the cabinets are very similar from one kitchen to the next.)
Recently I did this, duplicating a previous kitchen drawing. The previous one had quite a few dimensions on it, and all the dimension arrows had an arrowhead at both ends, as I prefer.
In the newly duplicated drawing I deleted all the dimensions just to clear the field, made the usual sort of changes -- moving cabinets around, changing widths and heights, and so on -- and then started to add some dimensions (using the Dimension palette of course.) But they all came up without arrowheads.
I tried selecting a dimension and setting a double-ended arrow style in the line palette, but got a beep for my troubles.
I just checked an earlier drawing, and all its dimensions still have arrowheads. It's only this latest one that has lost them.
How can I return the dimensions to double arrowheaded style?

You can not change the dimension end points in PE, they are always arrow heads.
Please email the file (compressed) to support@microspot.co.uk and I'll take a look. |

More info:
Making a new dimension in an existing file with existing dimensions (that have arrowheads) results in a new dimension without arrowheads. The existing dimensions don't change.
Making a duplicate in the Finder of an existing file results in a file where the dimensions keep their arrowheads if that's what they had, or have no arrowheads if they were already lacking.
Making a new file with all settings default, then drawing a single box and adding dimensions to it yields dimensions with arrowheads.
