| Yes it can be quite difficult to edit the doors and windows, as their construct is made up of a number of objects. The most confusing of all can be the transparent box that is placed around the door or window. Have you tried holding down the Option key and double clicking the door. This will open a new window for a sub assembly. The trick is, once you have Option-double-clicked the door the first time, select all of the parts of the door in the sub assembly window (Command - A), and then hold down the Option key and double click again. Depending on the complexity of the door, a number of new sub assembly windows will open. You can now locate the part you want to change. When you have finished changing that part simply close all the sub windows until you get back to the original document window, the door will be automatically updated. |
