Is Photo apps going to be updated to run on Mac OSX Lion ?

I am afraid not. Photofix, photoXtra and printmiX are PPC based application and are not going to be updated to support Mac OSX Lion (10.7).

Maximum OSX these applications will support is 10.5.8
