Macdraft 6.0 has a new behavior that is undesirable for my situation. It changes timestamps on files I open even if I make sure to close them without saving. Since I use the timestamp on files to organize them, this new behavior is causing me problems.

Is there a way to configure or use Macdraft so that I can open files and view them without changing their timestamp?

It is not MacDraft, or any app for that matter, that is causing this problem. It is the Mac OSX together with where the file resides and whether the file was created in an older version of the software.

It is a known issue. Google 'date modified changes when file is opened'
